Provided program & policy development for a charter high school in Trenton, NJ. Developed a NJDOE certified career & technical education pathway for emergent IT professionals. Currently working on the development of additional CTE pathways for state-approval. These pathways include health sciences, audio engineering, and graphic design. Worked with several two and four-year colleges & universities to develop articulation/dual enrollment agreements for high school students. Also worked with these same schools to develop formal programs of study for students interested in pursuing dual enrollment or CTE opportunities. Developed working relationships with other local high schools to develop split-day, vocational training opportunities for high school students. I worked extensively during my studies at American University on issues related to educational access and equity with a focus on my home state of New Jersey. I'm looking for a new position where I can combine my in-school experiences with my research and policy training to improve educational experiences and outcomes for historically marginalized student populations.

During my time with NJHMFA, I was able to accomplish the following:● Provide database management and data analysis services for county governments and nonprofit agencies in 8 counties across NJ● Collaborate with a wide variety of government and private agencies to build web-based systems and tools to coordinate access to housing resources● Train front-end users for data entry and work with management to customize software and analyze data for fiscal and training purposes● Serve as liaison between software providers and front-end users. Assist nonprofit and government agencies with data management and local, state, and federal reporting

During my many years at VCS I was fortunate to help build that learning community through the following accomplishments:● Provided robust differentiated instruction for students in grades K-8 in a variety of roles from assistant to lead teacher● Worked with emergent readers in small group settings● Trained fellow teachers and assistants to use the Leveled Literacy reading program● Used data to track student progress and guide instruction in a variety of curriculum and digital platforms● Started and lead an athletic department that provided teams during 3 seasons for all students in grades 6-8
