Currently leading the strategic and technical development of Tribal’s flagship product, Tribal Edge, a next-generation cloud-native SaaS platform. Reporting directly to the CTO and collaborating with the executive board, I guide cross-functional teams in Solution Architecture, Product Development, Test Automation, and DevOps to deliver high-impact solutions. My leadership has expanded the team from 20 to 140 FTE across three countries and enabled the launch of 5 new products on a Microsoft Azure platform, including a native mobile app that transformed the student experience. By establishing a Test Automation practice and adopting a DevSecOps culture, I drove down defect rates by 30% and achieved a tenfold increase in system reliability. Additionally, I chair multiple technical forums and oversee complex bespoke projects, ensuring seamless integration, delivery, and long-term client satisfaction

Successfully launched Tribal’s first offshore Shared Service Centre in Manila, building the centre from the ground up to provide development and testing services for Tribal products worldwide. Recruited, trained, and managed a diverse team, expanding from 15 to 80 FTE while fostering a high-performance culture that exceeded quality benchmarks. Established and delivered strategic frameworks for Test Automation and Performance & Scalability Testing, enhancing product reliability and accelerating project timelines. With a £2 million budget responsibility, I optimized operational costs and aligned resources to support Tribal’s global objectives, ensuring consistent, high-quality outputs across all products.

Led a high-performing team of 40 professionals to design, build, and support the Synergy suite of Children’s Services products, used by over 100 Local Authorities across the UK. Directed all aspects of product lifecycle management, balancing delivery timelines, budgets, and quality expectations to achieve successful outcomes. As Chair of the Development Managers Group, I championed the adoption of agile methodologies and emerging technologies, significantly improving team velocity and productivity. Additionally, as an active member of the Quality Review Group and Information Security Forum, I ensured compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards, driving continuous improvement in quality and security initiatives.
