Birdsboro-Union Fire Department provides Fire, Rescue and Quick Response EMS to Birdsboro Borough and Union Township, Berks County Pennsylvania. The Department is a volunteer base that answers approximately 500 calls annually from two stations. I have held the positions of Lieutenant, Assistant Chief, and Deputy Chief. I have been the Fire Chief since January 2012.

VMSC of Lower Merion and Narberth provides 911 EMS to Lower Merion Township, Narberth Borough, Conshohocken Borough and West Conshohocken Borough. I held the positions of Emergency Medical Technician, Staff Paramedic, Shift Lieutenant, Shift Captain, and Operations Supervisor (Deputy Chief). I was responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of three stations, they career staff of 28 full-time EMTs and Paramedics, and approximately 30 part-time EMTs and Paramedics.

Started my EMS career with PCAA as a volunteer. Here I worked my way through my training as a Advanced First Aid Provider, Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic. I held many volunteer positions, which included Vice President, Chief Engineer, Lieutenant, Captain, Assistant Chief, Deputy Chief and Chief of Operations. I retired as a volunteer as Deputy Chief in December 2002. In 2003 I started working for PCAA as a Full-Time Night Shift Paramedic.
