I have worked in the automotive service industry for 20 years prior to joining the Memphis Police Department. I am currently going into my 15th year of Law Enforcement in which I have had several positions and learned valuable skill sets that translate to real world activities. I started out my LE career in vice / narcotics and served almost three years in an undercover capacity. I then served a short time in uniform patrol before being placed in EDU and serving 8 years as a Beale St. Officer. During that time I was asked to lead TaskForce teams to help improve street safety and was pulled to day time TaskForce due to the success of my missions. I then was asked to serve in an investigative capacity and worked as a Detective until 2022 where I am currently. I am now in charge of compiling crime stats for the precinct and seeking out similarities that may aid in identifying the persons responsible. Throughout the 20 years of service and dealing with people and critical problems as well as the 15 years of service in law enforcement and dealing with people having their worst day I feel I am uniquely qualified to manage/lead teams to complete task oriented goals in a timely manner.
