    I started 2014 as President of Middle Georgia State College, with campuses in Macon, Cochran, Dublin, Eastman and Warner Robins. Middle Georgia State was charged and authorized to move to University status as a regional State University within the University System of Georgia, and my role is to lead the institution to that goal. This July 1st, 2015 we achieved that outcome, becoming officially re-designated by the Board of Regents as Middle Georgia State University, Georgia's new public university.
