We integrate acoustics into product development at an early developement stage in order to avoid the high costs of subsequent adjustments - in all areas of technical product development.For over 𝟭𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀, I have been fascinated by the simulation of acoustic phenomena in order to understand the propagation of sound in technical systems. My goal is to reduce noise in order to prevent health consequences. By using 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱𝘀 of current research, we support the development of quieter products with lower costs. In this way, acoustics can be taken into account in 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 and the full optimization potential can be exploited in all areas of the automotive, environmental and energy technology, aerospace, rail transport technology, construction and general mechanical engineering sectors.
