Assistant Account Handler

I was an Assistant Account Handler for Aston Lark Limited, part of the SME Renewals team in Maidstone. My position involved handling the renewal process for a monthly allocation of clients from start to finish; starting with the data capture stage, through the invitation/acceptance of each renewal and finishing with invoicing, as well as processing some MTAs. The client base was very diverse, ranging from residential associations to rapidly expanding SME companies over a variety of industry sectors, and so the renewal process had to be flexible and adaptive to meet individual requirements of each client. This process involved researching client’s requirements, ensuring that they were adequately insured and recommending additional coverage or policies if there is a relevant exposure. I have experience in handling various types of policy, including Property Owners, Office, Shop, Commercial Combined, Liabilities, Travel, Personal Accident, Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers and Cyber insurances, with a working knowledge of most other types of policy that may be relevant to SME or corporate clients.
