About Christopher Boggus

After graduation I accepted a position working for my local municipality in the property tax assessors office. I am currently holding a MAAO level III certification. This certification will allow me to certify the tax roll for the majority of cities in the state of Michigan. I will continue my appraisal education to earn the fourth and final certification, as well as other designations offered in my field. I am the Appraiser Supervisor for the City of Southfield. I am the Chief Editor of the Michigan Assessors Association’s flagship publication “The Michigan Assessor.” Being able to work at a high level in the government sector while simultaneously creating an online magazine for my peers is a new height that I am extremely proud of.I am a Communications graduate from MSU with a major in Journalism, specializing in copy editing and broadcasting. I have contributed to multiple school websites, a sports radio show, and a weekly sports podcast. I have traveled and chronicled my journey across most of western Europe, having briefly studied both the language and cultures of Roma, Italy, and Paris, France.Feel free to Link up with me!
