I contacted the insurance companies of our admitted inpatients and verified their insurance details and initiated the procedures required for their hospital stay to be covered.

I was the front-line clerk on the third shift, obtaining patient information and interfacing between the nursing staff, paramedic staff, doctors and our patients waiting to be seen in the Emergency Department.
