• Utilize Kinaxis Rapid Response to set demand forecast on a monthly cyclical basis and fulfill with a supply plan for assigned suppliers, including in-house manufactured sheet metal and bumpers, totaling $250 Million in revenue.• Chooses the correct forecasting method and understands bill of materials (BOM) planning. Develops seasonal demand forecasts and end-of-model sell down strategies as well as launch initial order quantities (IOQs) for both Subaru of America Independent Distributors and in-house manufactured parts.• Conducts daily review of stock keeping units (SKUs) assigned in the Kinaxis Rapid Response and address backorders, projected stock outs, place purchase orders and inventory allocations. • Utilize Rapid Response and Oracle software to review assigned SKUs for actions required, including expediting backorder and projected stock out conditions, placement of purchase orders and allocation of inventory to assure acceptable service levels (fill rate) for Master Distribution and Regional Distribution Center (RDC) operations.• Transfers and directs shipments of inventory to and from Subaru of Indiana and Subaru of America (SOA) facilities (including operations support). Initiates the transfer of inventory from Master Distribution Centers to facing Regional Distribution Centers based on projected stock out, backorder, or expedited transfer recommendations based on projected forecast in relation to supply consumption, lead time, and planning policies. Loads orders either directly into Oracle or through Rapid Response based on location or number of lines requested.• Place purchase orders (POs) and expedites shipments of parts to Regional Distribution Centers. Works with SOA’s Export group to ensure timely availability of parts ordered by SBR and other international distributors.
