​Architecture surprisingly wasn't my first career choice when starting college at Drexel. At first I was interested in the broad field of engineering unsure of what area to go into. After a class that gave an overview of electrical, mechanical, civil, and architecture engineering I then knew what wanted to pursue.​The idea of being able to draw out or model a building and then to see it built in person is always amazing. I was drawn to this field not just by the extravagant building designs and features such as in the Fallingwater house in Pennsylvania. But, also the intricate, lines, sections, and details that explain how each piece of the structure connects.​I soon set my path to become a licensed Architect knowing one day I would want to design my own buildings. The path hasn't been easy but every step taken has brought me closer. I currently have an Associates in Building Information Modeling and also have worked 5 years as a drafter. Furthermore, I also just completed my Associates in Architectural Engineering Technology at Delaware Technical Community College.
