Goodridge Advisory offers a high quality personal service to growing businesses primarily in the Wine, Property, and Russian markets, bringing my particular expert knowledge in accounting, tax and business planning to clients within these market sectors. I set up my previous Partnership shortly after I underwent serious surgery, when I wanted to be in control of my future with a partner who I respected and trusted. We built a good client base and had a great working relationship. However since then I have come to the conclusion that I wanted to work primarily in more specialised areas. Prior to my illness I was CFO to Stormhoek Wine Company and instrumental in taking the company form a £1.7 million turnover to £9 million. I was managing a team and working with the bottling company in South Africa. The company had a complex international business structure and required travelling to the various countries. My role incorporated the strategic planning for the various arms of the business, and liaising between different tax jurisdictions.I currently spend much of my free time traveling to Russia with my wife, where she works as a lawyer. We enjoy exploring the country and taking photos of the extensive landscapes and architecture. I attend GB Russian Society functions regularly and am a member of the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce.My current clients range across all these sectors (and more) with many running successful estate agencies or property development companies.
