As an Insurance Sales and Service Rep/Trainer my duties were:-Sell UPMC Health Insurance policies for Individuals/Families direct from UPMC, through Federal/State Facilitated Marketplaces, Medicare Advantage Policies for Medicare eligible members, and Children’s Health Insurance Policies. Pennsylvania Resident Producer Individual Insurance License. Lines of Authority Accident and Health-Met a 10% Quarterly increase quota with the Williamsport office team.-Provide Customer Service to Members from all UPMC Health Plan lines of business, including above referenced plans as well as Medicaid, Community Health Choices, Commercial, and UPMC Employee plans.-Customer Service included but was not limited to; taking premium payments for members, answering questions related to coverage, promoting wellness by advising members when they are due for Annual Wellness Exam, Mammogram, Colonoscopy, etc.,assisting with reimbursement inquiries, assisting with reviewing claims to ensure they are processed correctly, assisting members with renewals at Annual Open Enrollment, all done in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.-Participate in UPMC Community outreach events.-As Coaching Specialist provided New Hire training to all new hires brought on over a 4-6 week period to ensure they were knowledgeable on all above insurance products and met compliance requirements enforced by Medicare and Pennsylvania insurance laws.-Provided continual training and coaching to the entire Retail Team of approximately 30 team members.-Integrated new training ideas and platforms such as 360Learning platform to ensure collaborations across all training teams in UPMC Health Plan, particularly Member Services and Medicare Enrollment Teams.
