The role required an excellent attitude towards providing exceptionally high levels of customer service, all day and every day. As a bank teller, you were required to serve customers on a daily basis and see to their banking needs, whether this was making a cash transaction, a payment, or managing their internet banking. The role also involved the following aspects:- Handling large amounts of cash and petty change and helping process cash deliveries- Dealing with customer queries on the phone and in person, in regards to banking products and services- Taking part in company events such as grand openings by promoting the brand to the public- Protecting bank assets by keeping an eye out for fraudulent transactions and following the required procedures.
