Dependable, compassionate, adaptable, patient-centered, value-driven Physician Assistant with a goal to provide excellent quality medical care and access. I am able to work independently, but I also collaborate well with others to face challenges and solve problems. I maintain relationships with nursing, psychiatric, and clinicians that is both reassuring and professional in order to put the patient first. My studies at the Interservice Physician Assistant Program equipped me with the knowledge and skill to diagnose common to complex injuries and illnesses through detail oriented health assessment and critical thinking. I am capable of meeting patients’ needs in-person at the clinic, but since the pandemic I have developed a great appreciation for Telemedicine. I am committed, logical, and empathetic, so I strive to provide evidence based practices while building rapport with my patients. Additionally, I am always excited for opportunities for training to expand my knowledge and skill set. I believe that an organization’s culture drives success. During my studies in leadership, I came to admire the works of Robert Greenleaf, Ken Blanchard, and John Maxwell. I am a proponent of Servant Leadership and Situational Leadership. Blending both styles allows me to focus on relationships with my coworkers and patients, while having awareness and flexibility of the dynamic circumstances that I often face. My hope is that the organization I am a part of fosters this in its culture and empowers and develops its employees with coaching and mentoring. I enjoy the outdoors and traveling with my wife and six kids. I love to sit on my back deck and watch the sunsets with them, as you can see from my profile photo.
