• Developed a protocol and completed all necessary forms for IRB approval
• Completed a literature review and used the information to develop a proprietary chart review tool which was utilized to conduct a review of 465 charts
• Discovered that no item had above a 60% compliance and many items were below 20%
• Ran logistic and multinomial regression analyses which showed that age, patient status, and compliance to assessment variables were significant predictors of a reduction in depressive symptoms
• Suggested relevant interventions, including adding a case manager to the staff and utilizing a flagging system with the electronic medical records
