As Director of marketing and business development, my role was to connect with all outside referral sources to bring in new patients to the clinics. My targets consisted of Family Practice, Primary care, Orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurology, and other medical specialties. Utilizing marketing tools such as e-blasts, direct mail, phone calls and drop in cold calls to fill the pipeline for the future. Face to face prospecting to potential and existing referral sources was key as well. Working with key staff members such as patient coordinators, RN’s and other support staff as well as the physicians was my concentration. Another part of my role was to educate referrals on our services and procedures offered in our clinics. I was able to utilize Zoom meetings, which was key during the restricted covid years. The most affective was a face to face educational meeting. I was able to increase and add to our referral sources 40% to 50% year over year increasing daily patient visits from 20 patients a day to over 45 patients a day. This contributed to the increase in clinic revenues and success.
