My professional career has spanned over 20 years and after completing comprehensive training in Microsoft Office Professional, PRINCE2 and PMP I returned to project work with Bond International Software in June 2014 before working as a Senior Project Manager with Southern Housing Group and then taking on the role of Programme Manager at Ambiental in 2017, and I have recently implemented Trello and Hub-Planner Systems at Ambiental to assist with our Programme & Project Management and Project Budgeting and Reporting. My IT approach draws on my past experiences of Team Leadership/Management & Service Management, IT Support & Licencing Management, Project Management along with many years of all round general office and administration experience. I have planned, supported and managed complex projects and services in the UK, in Europe and in the US, developing IT & Business Change and taking full control of this in organisations of varying sizes, ensuring projects were delivered to the desired standards/quality, on time and on budget. My ITIL and different types of Project Management training means that I can manage and support projects in any industry - and I believe the fact that I have experience in so many varied industries within IT (Finance/Building & Architecture/Retail/Travel/Heavy Manufacturing/Pharma/Voluntary Sector/IT Recruitment) shows the flexibility I have and how quickly I pick up new areas of work.I worked my way up from a Trainee Programmer in the 1990s through AP, Senior AP and Analyst roles on to Team Leading, Project Management & Support/Support Management and Service Management. I have attended Six Sigma & Lean Sigma Training with PMI and am used to using the associated techniques to continually look for ways of improving services/systems/applications/projects.
