Systems Coordinator
CurrentWithin my role I look after many of the contracts on site including our 30+ forklift truck fleet, Scales and various laboratory and factory equipment. I am working on a daily basis with the Maintenance and Health and Safety department arranging any work required on site and working on future projects and requirements. I deal with Contractors on a daily basis issuing Permits to Work where required .I also manage all waste created on site from firstly trying to reduce the amount of waste produced to obtaining quotations and arranging disposal of all waste....also maintaining our waste Duty of Care programme and retaining records required under legislation. This also requires constant monitoring of various company's to get the best deals and keeping the costs as low as possible.I manage our Internal Auditing system which includes planning and distributing work for 10 Internal Auditors, managing the database and handling any outstanding actions.My role also incorporates a busy schedule of purchasing for both the Maintenance and Health & Safety departments. Especially PPE for a factory of 200 employees.
