Responsibilities are divided between office and offshore.Office based included:- Pre-project planning.- Preparation of factual and interpretative reports. Final QC of data.- Formulation and implementation of in-house training courses for wireline logging software..- Mentoring of junior staff members.Offshore based responsibilities included:- Supervision of mobilisations and demobilisations, coordinating logistical and personnel issues.- Amend (or write from start) and authorise deployment and recovery procedures and RA’s/JHA’s.- Client liaison to refine scopes of work.- QC and interpretation of data- In-situ testing systems worked with include Roson & SeaRobin (Seabed Wheeldrive), SeaCalf (Seabed Blockdrive), SeaScout & SeaHorse (Seabed Coildrive), Wison, XP & Dolphin (Downhole)- Coring and sampling systems worked with include Vibrocore, Dropcore (piston or gravity), Boxcore and various downhole coring/sampling systems.- Wireline logging systems worked with include Antares Datensysteme, Century Geophysical & Robertson Geologging and occasionally Geovista.- Wireline data includes (but not limited to) Natural Gamma, Borehole Orientation (Dip & Azimuth), Caliper, Density, Neutron, Full Wave Sonic (FWS), Resistivity, Televiewer (ABI & OBI) & P&S Logger- Worked from drillships, survey vessels, jack-up rigs,Projects include:2012 - Woodside, Browse Offshore Investigation, North-West Shelf, Offshore Western Australia2012 - Statoil, Geotechnical Investigation, Peregrino Field, Offshore Brazil2012 - Centrica, Offshore Windfarm Geotechnical Investigation, Irish Sea2011/12 Dong Energy, OWF Geotechnical Investigation, Westermost Rough, North SeaSee role below for further projects involved with.
