Front of office role providing sales support to the Corporate Bank. The main focus is to generate revenue and build upon financial targets set out by senior management. To achieve this, team work and sales strategies are discussed and expanded to maximise the revenue potential in the most efficient manner. • Acquiring and developing new client relationships through client engagement events, targeted prospecting and regular dialogue with internal functions within the back (Such as the Investment Bank DCM and LDCM departments and Corporate Coverage Teams). • Reviewing analysis on product markets and competitor activity to identify business strengths and weaknesses. • Production of accurate and timely reports to meet the needs of the Sales Directors and senior managers. • Production of pricing quotes and pitchbooks upon request from clients and prospects. • Record and maintain detailed Salesforce transaction logs to track closed (lost/ won) proposals. • Once a transaction is won, devise the working party list and manage the client onboarding. Outside of the day-to-day, I am an ambassador to the Corporate Bank’s Junior Development Network. This involves monthly junior events and engagements, as well delivery of presentations and running of events.

Sits within the Corporate Bank - ‘Trust and Agency Services’ - and acts as an interface between the client and the various internal and external parties who perform functions for Collateralised Loan Obligations and Alternative Investment Funds.Acting as a relationship manager for a set of highly respective clients where the main duties include; • Preparation of quantitative monthly investor reports relating to the funds.• Attending client meetings and hosted corporate events with sales representatives with the aim to enhance the existing relationship. • Conduct quarterly, semi-annual, and annual documentation reviews on the funds to ensure they and the bank remain compliant with the latest regulatory guidelines. • Reviewing and interpreting legal documentation with regards to the structured finance products.• Assisting with adhoc client queries swiftly and efficiently.• Conduct portfolio reconciliation and monitoring of performance triggers.• Calculate, review and distributed the interest and principal waterfalls for CLOs and NAV for the AIF.o Calculation of interest and principal distribution.• Working closely with new colleagues to develop their knowledge on the products, as well as the bank’s operating processes.

Corporate Trust - Structured Credit ServicesReconciliation of the cash and collateral held by the deals is vital to the success of the collateral managers, in their decisions to purchase and sell assets. The orchestration of purchasing and selling of syndicated debit products in a timely manner and where appropriate liaising with custodians on actioning the votes of corporate actions. All this is achieved through; • Maintaining the attention to detail with regards to the financial models.o Ratings reconciliation.o Holding reconciliation. • Process transactions.o Exchange of funds and assets. o Execution of MMF trades.o Calculation of currency derivatives.• Implement MIFID II influences on the reporting of special purpose vehicles. • Working on projects to offer solutions and methods to improve working practices, specifically around the implementation of MIFID II and CASS guidelines on client owned financial instruments held externally to the bank. The end goal is to present timely and accurate information to the collateral manager and respected investors on the performance of the deals and the distribution of capital. Achieving success in this has earnt the trust of the clients who have awarded more business to the team; and for the senior managers to further entrust more and larger valued relationships with myself.

The internship provided an opportunity to explore the processes around financial statements with regards to the investment funds. Key Responsibilities:• The role provided client support to assist in understanding and resolving issues with the reporting product ‘Unity Financial Reporting’.o Supporting the client by providing a solution-based response.o System testing for enhancements.o Working as a team to provide end user support, and continued monitoring of the client’s system.• Updating client reports to their predetermine specifications. • Documenting and communicating solutions to issues to the team which led to identifying trends.By providing timely solutions to the client’s problems and needs, it strengthened the relation and trust of the products which improved further rollouts of the software to other funds in the client’s portfolio. Working as a team also allowed for sharing of problem solutions which further developed the product’s creativity and potentials.

Internship at the British Weightlifting Organisation - working on the talent assessment schemesResponsibilities include:• Set up and run physical tests to analyze the condition of athletes to assess their appropriateness to the sport.• Kistler BioWare, gathering data• Use of Excel spreadsheets for data input and analysis • Presented the data to coaches and athletes.• Team leader role in BWL initiative ‘Golden Chance’. Providing information on what will be required of the athletes throughout the selection process; where and how they will be assessed; as well as motivational support to a designated group of athletes on the assessment days. • Competition organizer; setting up and running BWL affiliated competitions e.g.: British Senior Championships 2014; British Students; Dwarf Games; British Schools and Youth; IPC Powerlifting Competition• Applying event management skills toward the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) in the setting up and running of IPC affiliated competitions around the countryThis internship has given me the ability to become more competent in my organizational and management skills; specifically my time management, as I would often spend periods of time on-site running an event during academic term time. To further my organisational management skills I took control of areas within the BWL schemes, such as testing stations – to competition arena layout. I gained a great understanding and knowledge in the area of talent acquisition throughout the internship; as a result I was recognized by the British Weightlifting coaches and given greater responsibilities within the organization, by being offered the Weight Lifting Level 1 coaching qualification. This led to more active roles and responsibilities within a number of talent pathway schemes, like ‘Golden Chance’ and ‘British Schools’ which were a programmes designed to find the new athletes to represent ‘Team GB’ at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games.
