About Christopher Buckman

My career and experience to date has been in the financial services industry where I spent five and a half years with Deutsche Bank; starting as a client service manager in the structured finance servicing team and progressing to sales specialist within Corporate Banking. As a top performing client service manager, I was entrusted to run a number of the bank’s high valued client funds and continue to grow the relationships. To be successful in the role, I have working knowledge of the different types of services offered to the structured transactions and how the evolving regulatory requirements impacted their day-to-day running.A track record of providing successful coaching to new hires and selected to become an ambassador to the Corporate Bank’s Junior Development Network, recognising my high level of professionalism, client centricity and encapsulating Deutsche Bank’s ethos.I also took on the opportunity to temporarily relocate to Ireland to nearshore the ‘Client Service Group’ in Dublin. Whilst there, I was tasked to train and educate junior hires on Deutsche Bank’s systems and on how to best service the product offerings. This presented an array of opportunities to take on further responsibilities to deliver projects which improved the bank’s servicing potential and met both client and business goals. As a junior salesman, It was imperative to maintain a good relationship with intermediaries and decision makers which I achieved by building trust and taking time to understand their needs.
