Founded BA Environmental in January 2015. As an Environmental Management Professional and a licensed Professional Geologist, I continue to provide consulting and project management in the realm of environmental regulatory compliance, environmental site assessments, site cleanup, hydrogeology, and geologic assessments.

One of the founding members and Project Manager at Blackstone Environmental. I provide environmental consulting expertise and manage junior staff and subcontractors on a wide range of projects including environmental assessments, enviornmental cleanup and remediaiton, and environmental compliance. My expertise is in geochemistry, bioremediation, groundwater cleanup and environmental permitting and compliance. Clients supported include industrial equipment manufacturers, explosives manufacturing operations, agribusiness facilities, and State and Local government operations.

Provide professional environmental consulting services to assist clients with all aspects of environmental management. My specialty includes managing the cleanup/remediation of properties impacted with soil or groundwater contamination. I also offer assistance with Federal and State of Kansas environmental regulatory compliance and reporting (air, water and land) including EPA, RCRA, OSHA, Department of Transportation, Department of Agriculture and others. A new service I am offering is assistance with auditing and improving energy efficiency and selecting, sizing and installing alternative energy systems including geothermal heat pumps, solar water heaters, wind energy systems, solar energy systems and bioenergy systems.

Worked as an environmental engineer for ATK in Magna, Utah. I primarily supported RCRA Corrective Action remediation efforts involving cleanup of perchlorate contaminated soil and groundwater. Duties involved quarterly groundwater monitoring, data management, soil sampling, and corrdination of pilot-test efforts to test experimental in-situ technology. I also provided support for RCRA compliance issues including hazardous air pollutant reporting and sampling, storage, labeling, and shipping of hazardous waste. I was also responsible for engineering, compliance, and maintenance of the facility waste water treatment plant. Duties included sampling and compliance reporting as well as redesign of treatment processes. As part of the company's pollution prevention and compliance issues, I used my background in chemical engineering to successfully model and optimize the existing wastewater chemical batch reactor to increase the reactor efficiency by 50% and reduce the run-time by 75%. This enabled the treatment facility to meet increased throughput demand while still maintaing compliance with regulatory discharge limits.

Worked in the Network Operations Center to help maintain the sprint wireless network between 1997 and 1999. Duties included monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing switching and cell tower equipment. Between 1999 and 2002 I worked with the network maintenance support group to manage the engineering, installation and administration of a hardware/software system used to troubleshoot the Sprint telecommunications network. Duties included projet management of all aspects of system implementation, technical writing of engineering docuements, hardware/software operations and maintenance, user administration and training.
