In addition to my previous responsibilities, I manage the PLC engineers in the company. I manage the standards and best practices of the department, maintain quality control of the applications produced, and perform employee reviews and time management.

Responsible for design, development, installation and startup of PLC-based automation and control systems for the water and wastewater industry. PLC programming includes pump control, level control, filter backwash, chemical feed systems, and telemetry system polling. Also responsible for project PLC networks and PLC systems, developing new products, developing standards for PLC programming, and maintaining quality control of existing products. Advise on the selection of project PLC hardware and software. Experienced in Allen-Bradley, Modicon, Bristol Babcock, and Motorola PLC applications development, serial data communications, and Ethernet data communications including Modbus, Ethernet IP, Allen-Bradley Ethernet, Profibus, Devicenet, Controlnet, and DH+. Additional responsibilities include determining standard practices and procedures for project execution, developing training programs for in-house as well as customer advancement, and overseeing the skill development of new and existing employees in the applications department.

Responsible for electrical design, parts purchasing, and PLC programming for robotic welding applications. Program applications included sequential control of pneumatic and hydraulic valves, initiation of welding sequences, and weld monitoring information. Design responsibilities included power routing, safety controls, and panel layouts. Experienced in AutoCad - Electrical and numerous Allen-Bradley programs and hardware.
