I have project managed two very successful programmes at CVQO. I helped create, plan and write the ILM L2 Young Leaders Award programme. I provided full training for my team and have been the Lead IV on this programme, liaising with ILM to ensure the organisation retains direct claim status for the qualification, quality assurance and preparing and completing paperwork for external visits. From producing and developing resources to recruiting and training over 50 CFAV staff and travelling around the UK to monitor their progress and delivery, the programme has successfully supported over 3700 learners with a 98%+ pass rate.More recently, I was also asked to lead the Pearson L3 Education and Training programme for adults from the cadet forces. A programme that has taken off during lockdown with many people looking to add to their skill set. Managing a small team of assessors, the programme is extremely popular. I managed this on an interim basis ensuring continuity for the programme but equally developing the qualification and completed 3 external visits, as manager and Lead IV, with no formal action points required from the awarding body.I ran an extremely successful BTEC Level 1 in Citizenship, Personal Skills and Teamwork. Working in several schools and colleges in the East, the course brought indoor education, ‘outdoors,’ with students learning new skills for life and building confidence and self-esteem. Feedback from the schools, Head teachers, Governors, parents and guardians was very positive and I developed a course which supplemented their academic studies and was very favourable with ‘Ofsted’, providing ‘valued added’ qualifications for the School and learners.Through CVQO I also delivered an ILM Level 2 nationally, in Effective Team Member Skills and have delivered 1-1 mentoring with students who were on the verge of exclusion or facing difficulties within their school or home setting. In addition, I deliver IQA for all the courses in my remit and am an assessor and Lead IV for BTEC, ILM and Young Leaders qualifications and have had a very successful career managing pastoral care and the welfare of young people.Specialties: Voluntary, Third Sector, Education
