CurrentManages daily operations and directs workflow; supervises staff including planning, assigning, and evaluating work, training, and coaching; plans prioritizes, and manages programs, projects, and operations; develops, implements, and monitors policies and procedures; and ensures compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. Coordinates the preparation of, and prepares, maintains, reviews, and/or submits policy, operational, financial, and related reports, records, user guides manuals, contracts, and agreements; oversees the preparation of correspondence and maintenance of databases and systems; researches, analyzes, compiles, extracts, digitizes, and/or reviews information; and reviews work and the work of others for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contracts and applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. Prepares and manages budget including monitoring and approving expenditures, evaluating needs, researching and analyzing financial data, preparing cost estimates and forecasts, making and approving budget-related recommendations, and allocating funds. Manages procurement processes; researches and evaluates products, services, and processes; researches, analyzes, and reports on vendor, operational, and related information; negotiates prices; prepares maintenance and purchase schedules; inspects and tests systems and equipment to determine purchase or replacement needs; and recommends and/or approves purchases. Collaborates with City leadership, City departments, and/or external agencies; convenes, facilitates, and attends meetings and conferences; represents the City on policy and regulatory matters; prepares and conducts presentations; acts as an SME; resolves complex and high-visibility issues.Incumbents oversee the conduct of performance evaluations, training, hiring, discipline, and termination procedures as well as directly supervise management, professional, paraprofessional, and support staff, as assigned.
