I have been working in the Construction Industry for 29 years initially involved in steel erecting including operating Mobile Cranes. I then moved into earth moving as a plant operator on various types of projects from demolition to major road building projects on numerous items of plant.In 2004 I completed the CPCS Instructional Techniques course at CITB and then joined CITB as a Plant Operator Instructor, I held this position for approximately 4-5 years delivering apprenticeship and commercial training along with delivering the CPCS Instructional Techniques course until 2008 when the scheme changed. I became a Senior Instructor in 2007 managing the delivery of training programs for CITB based at Bircham Newton Norfolk. In 2014 I was promoted to Product Manager for the Plant department and was responsible for the delivery of apprenticeship and commercial programs across the UK. In 2017 I took over the Construction curriculum as well as the Plant Curriculum.
