Whenever I watch a movie or series I can’t help but visualise what’s happening offscreen. I can see the camera operators, lights, mics, rigs, crew and I’m always admiring how they pulled of this or that shot.I love my profession.Filmmaking is a versatile craft. We get to be engineers, artists, explorers and researchers, nerds and inventors and above all storytellers - a little bit of everything. Currently, I work as an editor and camera/drone operator. My job involves being the link between the technical and the creative department - bringing the two worlds together.Having spent three years abroad at Worthing College, UK shaped my personality immensely and gave me the confidence and skills I use now when working with customers every day.For our clients we are problem solvers, helping them to communicate by producing everything from image films, social ads, to documentaries and live streams.In the past 6 years I’ve had the chance to help educate two trainees. I like to teach but I love being taught. Learning new techniques, workflows and getting inspired by others is key to me.I found my passion in filmmaking, being a creative nerd and developing the skillset of a good allrounder. Aerial cinematography in particular makes me tick.I highly value teamwork, efficiency and humility.Outside of work, scuba diving is becoming a new hobby that intrigues me a lot given its need for technical skills, a partner to work with and getting ultimate freedom underwater in return.Feel free to get in touch if you want to know more or just have a chat.
