About Christopher C.

As a Neuroradiologist and Executive Partner for the IT Portfolio at Mayfair, I combine my clinical expertise and IT background to lead the IT team, evaluate and implement new technological solutions, and guide the business direction of one of Canada's largest medical imaging practices. Since I began in this dual role in 2020, I have successfully delivered multiple IT projects that enhanced the quality, efficiency, and security of our radiology services across different provinces and territories. Significant projects include the transition from an outsourced IT solution to an in-house clinical IT team supported by a managed services provider, and the implementation of a new PACS vendor, a new RIS vendor, a radiologist workflow orchestration solution, and radiologist reporting software, as well as Contact Centre technology enhancements and disaster recovery infrastructure and planning.I have been a Neuroradiologist at Mayfair since 2016. From 2017-2020, I served as the Medical Director of Clinical Informatics for Diagnostic Imaging in Calgary Zone at Alberta Health Services, where I oversaw informatics technology in all diagnostic imaging departments in Calgary. I also completed a two-year Neuroradiology Fellowship at Barrow Neurological Institute in 2016, where I was the Chief Fellow and gained extensive experience performing and interpreting complex neuroimaging studies and procedures. I am dual board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology by both the American Board of Radiology and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and I hold a medical degree from McGill University and a Biomedical Computing degree from Queen's University. My mission is to leverage my IT and medical knowledge to improve the delivery and outcomes of radiology care in Canada and beyond.
