Fmx Branch Chief
CurrentServes as Branch Chief, providing top management advice on maintenance initiatives and strategies in support of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) equipment/systems. Responsible for establishing policy and operating guidelines to include planning, development, organizing, management, direction, execution and administration of all assigned maintenance initiatives, missions and programs for C4ISR equipment/systems. Monitors and directs maintenance management initiatives and related operations, to include Army Maintenance Transformation, National Maintenance Program, Level of Repair Analysis, and depot level Special Repair Activity authorizations. Responsible for the planning, development, management, administration and execution of overall various annual, long range and multiyear C4ISR maintenance programs and missions. Monitors and directs maintenance management and related operations, to include program execution. Responsible for the development and presentation of maintenance budget(s) reflecting monetary requirements for production as well as required procedural/documentation updates/changes. Actively participates in interpreting and implementing broad program policies and directives promulgated by higher authority. Responsible for developing, establishing and implementing programs and operating plans for existing, new or expanded mission responsibilities. Determines and/or recommends and defends manpower needs and funding requirements in support of maintenance initiatives and/or repair programs. Monitors the preparation of, or personally prepares, implementing directives and operating procedures. Follows through on recommendations tending to improve production maintenance program, efficiency, cost economy and/or reduction. Serves as technical advisor to Supervisor and/or higher authority on maintenance initiatives and production matters or problems.
