Utilizing behavioral and functional neuroimaging (fMRI) approaches, I research cognitive impairments and their associated brain mechanisms in people with multiple sclerosis and traumatic brain injury. I also research ways to mitigate these difficulties and improve quality of life through evidence-based cognitive interventions. My goal is to merge cognitive neuroscience and cognitive rehabilitation to improve the lives of people impacted by neurological disease and injury.
