I work as an Inventory Control Specialist at Spencer Gifts LLC. My main responsibilities are as follows:I report on the company's weekly and monthly receipts for our Spencer, Canadian, Spirit Halloween, Toyzam, and Ecommerce stores using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access. I also report on shipments, inventory levels, obsolete and clearance levels, and IMU's for each using the above processes. I am the direct contact for our dropship vendors when researching if product has reached our stores. I report on all our open purchases for both the warehouse and on the store level on a weekly basis. I do research through Fedex and UPS to ensure product is being delivered so stores have what they need and payment can be issued.I am in contact with our stores on a daily basis to assist them with shipment issues, damages and discards, and any other inventory related questions. I make sure our stores have the correct inventory levels so orders can be made and sales can be at the highest possible.During our Inventory times in November for Spirit Halloween and January for Spencers and Toyzam stores I reconcile our results by making sure shipments that never made it to stores were not charged and ensuring that everything that was to be counted was actually counted to give us the most accurate possible results. I recently traveled to our warehouse in Charlotte, NC to prepare them for their annual Inventory and assisted in the actual audit of the entire warehouse.
