Duties are as follows:-Mold and mentor combat ready Marines by developing their physical conditioning, mental aptitude, technical abilities, and moral fiber.-Coordinate with higher authorities and communicate the progress of current training evolutions.-Supervise and ensure Marines qualify and complete all annual and fiscal year training and are enrolled in the appropriate level of non-resident PME courses.-Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly training schedules and maintain Individual Training Records for all Marines per MCO 3500.12a.-Order, track, proctor and nominate Marines for resident Professional Military Education.-Ensure all required reports are accurate and submitted on time.-Ensure that applicable orders, policies and regulations are strictly enforced.-Provide administrative guidance and leadership to all Marines.-Provide, supervise, and ensure enforcement of Operational Risk Management.In addition to these duties, collateral duties at the time were to be responsible for a floor of 80 Marines and their living quarters.

-Provided armed internal security for the embassy to prevent the compromise of classified material and equipment vital to national security-Provided protection for all employed by the embassy-Ensured the security of the embassy through the constant monitoring of Closed-circuit Television, maintaining accurate chronological records, thorough checks of visitor identification and through the practical application of drills for exigent circumstances -Supervised and ensured 100% accountability for all training requirements for a detachment of 6 Marines- to include law enforcement techniques, force continuum, and anti-terrorism techniques -Provided armed VIP security for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2009 during her visit to Kuwait-Provided armed VIP security for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2009 during her visit to the APECS conference in Singapore.-Provided armed presidential security to President Barack Obama in 2009 during his visit to the APECS conference in Singapore, and visiting dignitaries involved with the APECS proceedings. -Developed new training procedures to hinder hostile surveillance and increase security for Embassy personnel.-Established and supervised armed response drills at three diplomatic missions to increase security posture and ensure the safety and security of mission personnel-Received, evaluated, classified and directed the apprehension of a hostile individual threatening to attack the Embassy with explosives.-Maintained a Top Secret Security clearance from 2008 to present.
