As someone who leans more on the introvert side, immerses themselves with the latest technology and an avid learner of everything new, I am fascinated by the way technology has grown and the way it helps the world progress as we know it. And as a prospective graduate in Computer Science, I see how software engineering has taken its role in that growth, and now I can be apart of it as well.Ever since I was young, I've always enjoyed my fair share of video games and learning about technology, for example when our family got our first computer. There after once our family could afford and obtain a smart phone, it was a whole new experience for me. As I grew older and experienced more of these applications on phones which brought value into the lives of other, I knew I wanted to bring value into the hands of people around me, whether it be a simple phone game or a task manager, knowing that I could have an effect on the life of at least one person.At my time at Farmingdale State whilst completing my Computer Science degree I've obtained a few skills that can help put me on the right path to reach my goals. I've grown familiar with some languages such as Java, Python, C# and SQL, softwares such as Unity and Google Firebase and practices such as Agile Development and Unit Testing. I'm always eager to learn more and expand my arsenal, to work side by side with other software engineers, and become a better developer.
