My name is Christopher Cannon, I am a husband and father of two first and foremost. To pay the bills, however, I get to work with technology. Technology and computer science has been my passion since my fourth birthday when my parents bought me a Sega Genesis.In April of 2021, I left my previous career in Construction Technology due to heart complications at work. For the second time I had to be rushed to a hospital because of heart pain, tightness in my chest and shortness of breath. I had been working long work weeks and extended shifts for years and my last two 90 hour weeks were my last in construction. Several weeks later, I began having complications from a nerve block I had in early April and I was unable to walk extended distances. I had pushed myself for as long as I could but I knew it wouldn't last much longer. I decided to find a new career. With the support of my wife, I decided to look into starting my own business. Everyone will tell you to find a job that you are passionate about and I knew that the IT industry would be very fulfilling but I knew that to have the perfect job I would have to create it myself.At the time of writing this, it is November 2021 and I am currently filling out the paperwork to create my company, Cannon Tech Solutions, LLC. It is certainly a lot to learn but for the first time in my life I am excited for work.
