Like many high school kids, I started in parks and recreation as a lifeguard. Since then, I have developed a passion for aquatics and, as a whole, parks and rec. As the aquatic facilities manager, I help oversee our daily operations with our six facility team leads, spread across three pools, to include scheduling, facility preventative maintenance, and providing necessary staff training. In addition, I am a student at the University of Tennessee- Knoxville set to receive my BA in political science with a minor in public policy analytics in May of 2026. My policy areas of interest include environmental policy, local politics, energy policy, and land management.
