Together with his partner Chas Sergewick and their team, Chris focuses on preserving wealth, preparing clients for long and rewarding retirements, and continuing to make intelligent financial decisions.Chris Carbone has been a trusted advisor for over 30 years, previously serving as a Senior Vice President and Senior Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley. Chris is a specially qualified Senior Portfolio Manager who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can help clients pursue their objectives by building and managing his own personalized or defined strategies, which may incorporate individual stocks and bonds, Merrill model portfolios, and third-party investment strategies. Senior Portfolio Managers are provided a high degree of flexibility in constructing portfolios and selecting securities. When servicing clients through the Firm's Investment Advisory Program, a Senior Portfolio Manager may manage his strategies on a discretionary basis. After meeting certain additional requirements, a Senior Portfolio Manager may use his own strategies to manage the assets of clients working with other Merrill Advisors.Originally from Matawan, Chris and his wife, Debbie, have lived in Toms River for the past 30 years and have four children. Two of their children are married, one attends college, and their son owns Carbone's Clothing Company in Red Bank, NJ. Chris is a diehard fan of the New York Giants and the Kentucky Derby.
