As a recent graduate with a BA in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio, I am passionate about helping people feel better and get better through physical therapy and stretching. I have gained valuable skills and experience in fitness instruction, coaching, and communication from working as a Stretch Practitioner at Stretch Zone and an Operations Support System Specialist at ATI Physical Therapy, where I provided direct patient care and support, instructed and monitored exercise performance, and helped deliver therapeutic modalities.Currently, I am working as an Administrative / Referral Coordinator at Medina Regional Hospital Rehab Clinic. I work with requests from third-party referral sources, serve as point person for multidisciplinary evaluation process, and assemble information concerning patient’s clinical background and referral needs. I also contact insurance companies to verify benefits and prior authorization requirements. I am always learning new things and striving to better myself, and I plan to go back to school for my masters and become an official physical therapist. I work hard, study hard, and give 100% to everything I do. I am motivated by the goal of helping many more people in more ways than I can now.
