At LSM, we work with citizen scientists across the state and the Maine DEP to collect and ensure credible scientific data related to lake health. I manage our internship program from recruitment to implementation. Within my first year I oversaw the onboarding of 5 summer interns to assist in our Water Quality and Invasive Aquatic Species programs and website development projects. I also assist in our QA/QC process for the various data we intake regarding Invasive Aquatic Species and Water Quality. This has required database management and volunteer communication skills.

As the Civic Leadership Fellow, Christopher works with the Harward Center for Community Partnerships, Residence Life and Health Education, and the Office of Intercultural Education to provide programming opportunities for students to engage with each other and the local Lewiston-Auburn communities.
