I'm a recent alumni of University California Santa Barbara who graduated in 4 years with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology. I acted as a research assistant in a Marine Biology laboratory while at UCSB where I fostered an understanding of how the modern research laboratory functions. I also have lab experience in a pharmacology setting where I learned tissue preparation, cell culture, ELISA, serial dilutions, and many other techniques required in the modern pharmacology laboratory. Hardworking and dedicated, I always try to better myself and my colleagues. I reached the level of professional paintball and competed for 5 years in national and international leagues. Through this achievement, I learned the value of commitment to a long term goal and the value of teamwork. After graduation I worked as a lab assistant at a contract research organization that focused on cancer research. Through this experience I was able to foster and hone the skills that I learned in school. I am currently living in the San Diego area unemployed
