Within the time I was an interior decorator I was the highest grossing in terms of sales. I created very close rapport with my clients and successfully grew the interior decorator space at the store which I was based. Since moving into a management role I have mentored and worked closely with new starting decorators.

After being shortlisted by UniSA and successfully interviewing with the team at DesignInc, I completed my Internship learning valuable skills that will make me an asset for any future position post study. Working on a number of real projects I was able to contribute on different stages of completion from development, preliminary and construction. I learnt how to use BIM in a studio setting, creating sheets and annotating interior elevations as well as creating joinery and detailing pages as well. I worked on interior, FF&E and joinery schedules, liaising with suppliers to quickly put together materials boards. I assisted with multiple site visits; One of them I was tasked with recording and created a defects report before handover for the interior.I very quickly fit into the Design Inc team and created connections with some extraordinary designers in the field.
