Investigative and Enforcement Services (IES) provides investigative, enforcement, and regulatory support services to four APHIS programs-Animal Care (AC), Biotechnology Regulatory Services (BRS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), and Veterinary Services (VS). IES also provides these services for agricultural quarantine inspection (AQI) activities carried out by the US Department of Homeland Security's Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

Responsible for the daily operation of the firearms range co-located with the Greenville area Palmetto State Armory retail store. Supervises the Assistant Range Master, four full-time Range Safety Officers (RSO), and one part-time RSO to ensure range safety rules are properly and professionally enforced; provides beginner and intermediate rifle and pistol firearms lessons for customers; and maintains accountability of all rental firearms assigned to the range, which include National Firearms Act (NFA) regulated firearms.

I enlisted as a basic Military Policeman and served as a sentry, patrolman, dispatcher, desk sergeant, patrol supervisor, and watch commander at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Beaufort, SC and Cherry Point, NC before I was selected as an apprentice investigator with the Criminal Investigation Division (CID). After completion of requisite training, I completed a seven year assignment as a Marine Special Agent with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) at MCAS Cherry Point, NC and Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Pendleton, CA. Upon completion of my tour with NCIS, I returned to CID as the Central Precinct Chief at MCB Camp Butler, Okinawa, Japan. Thereafter, I completed back to back assignments as the Chief Investigator at MCAS Yuma, AZ and MCAS Iwakuni, Japan. On June 30th, 2018, I will complete my military career and transfer to the Fleet Marine Corps Reserve (FMCR) pending retirement. During my military career I completed two deployments to Aviano Air Base, Italy in support of Operations Decisive Edge and Joint Endeavor; one deployment to Port Au Prince, Haiti in support of peacekeeping operations; one deployment to the Al Anbar Province, Iraq in support of OIF; and two deployments to Khorat, Thailand in support of the Cobra Gold Asia-Pacific military exercise. Personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (x3), and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (x2).
