Cybersecurity Professional with experience in the Federal and Private sectors. Experienced with Nessus/Tenable products, Splunk, SolorWinds, Forescout, and other tools used for endpoint/network security. Retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service. Served as a Information Services Technician (255A), Signal Support Systems Specialist (25U) and Information Technology Specialist (25B). Being a technical Warrant Officer has been rewarding and challenging. I enjoy coming to work day in and out because of the complexity and variety of my field. My first assignment, out of WOBC, was to 1SBCT, 4ID. There I was assigned originally assigned as the SASMO for the BDE. I only held the position for a short time, but during that time I was introduced to the world of LIS. Knowing absolutely nothing about the LIS platforms, I emerged myself in doctrine and technical manuals to learn everything I could to be the subject matter expert on the systems. I learned a lot, and as soon as I felt confident in working the position, the S6 Information Services Technician position in the Brigade HQs opened up. I was transferred to that position. Admittedly, I felt more comfortable with this position because this is what I trained for at the Basic Course. Little did I know, how much I didn't know. I learned all the Army Battle Command Systems, and how the inter-operated with each other. I am very confident in my ability to manage the BCCS and TSI stacks. After a few years in that position, I PCS'd to Fort Eustis, and hold a similar position with the 7th Transportation Brigade.
