Primary Accountabilities:• Assures plant safety/accident Prevention Policies are adhered to as stated in handbook.• Responsible for the safe and efficient startup and shutdown of equipment as well as ensuring the machinery is producing quality products through routine data reviews/audits.• Observes production operation to ascertain compliance with quality, safety, production standards, work rules, and efficient operation of equipment. Implements effective corrective actions and recommends preventative safety, production, and quality measures with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)• Reports potential production downtime, scrap, and quality of each machine under the supervisor’s responsibility and summarizes data from shift.• Provides input to Production Manager on all operators on a continuous basis for performance evaluation, corrective action, and action plan purposes.• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training coworkers; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.• Performs formal root cause analysis to identify points of failure to implement corrective actions to eliminate and optimize.• Partners with the Shift Supervisor to communicate all performance issues. Trains all direct reports to follow all rules, programs, and procedures. Coaches’ coworkers to ensure compliance.

Primary Accountabilities:• Support the scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance activities for the site's equipment, machinery, and utilities.• Execute maintenance tasks in line with the qualifications and training.• Support external maintenance experts to ensure Health Safety and Environment (HSE), biosafety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.• Ensure good collaboration with the general maintenance team and external partners.• Work closely with Engineers and Automation, to stay abreast of efficiency improvements.• Review instructions, diagrams, and schematics for machinery in need of maintenance repair• Check parts and equipment inventory and request new orders as needed.• Maximo System/SAP integration

Primary Accountabilities:• Received, processed, and managed complaint samples from various manufacturers and customers.• Coordinated sample status follow up, facilitated special internal requests for department testing.• Researched and resolved discrepancies with product received.• Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA)• Maintained metrics for Safety Data Management Team• Archived and disposed of all products within Medical Safety• Collaborated IOL returns.• Monitored, maintained, and archived complaints utilizing several webs applications.• Served as a liaison between multiple Alcon sites in the U.S. as well as our international affiliates for sample status.• Cultivated a professional relationship with each affiliate ensuring efficient product return.
