Mr. Chan is co-leading design and management of Moore Ruble Yudell's Shanghai Studio. Established in 2012, this office is a full design studio alongside the Santa Monica office.The Shanghai Studio just completed the firm's ShanghaiTech University campus. Together with Tongji, ECADI, and SMEDI design institutes, MRY was responsible for the design of the campus master plan, architecture and interiors for about 50 buildings.Currently, the Shanghai Studio is also deeply involved with several exciting projects. Wenzhou Kean University School of Architecture building in Wenzhou, China is entering construction soon. And the detailed master planning is underway on the Beihang Aviation University and Science & Research New Town project also won through an international design competition.In 2017, Mr. Chan became the President of AIA Shanghai. He is also a Chapter co-founder and a standing board of director.
