Marine Project Group has expanded to now include a Waterjet Cutting jobshop. A wholly owned subsiderary of Marine Project Group a Water Jet Cutter also known as a Waterjet is a tool capable of slicing into metal or other materials such as granite using a jet of water at high velocity and pressure, or a mixture of water and an abrasive substance. The process is essentially the same as water erosion found in nature but greatly accelerated and concentrated. It is often used during fabrication or manufacture of parts for machinery and other devices. It is the preferred method when the materials being cut are sensitive to the high temperatures generated by other methods. It has found applications in a diverse number of industries from mining to aerospace where it is used for operations such as cutting, shaping, carving and reaming . Marine Project Group is a Sole Proprietorship and was formed in 1986 to address a small niche in the International Marine Industry around the world tasked with performing urgent repairs while keeping the installation operating and managing Operations for major Oil Tanker Ship Owners. In 2006 Christopher Chapman was promoted to Captain on Supertankers and in 2010 was promoted again to Superintendant. My background in Repairs and Senior Operations of the largest and most complex structures in the Oil Industry has allowed me a unique insight as to the most modern available technologies and how they are utilized to greatest effect.

In 2010 was promoted to Cargo Superintendent and Assistant OIM for two Floating Production Storage Offloading installations located Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea.2006 was promoted to Master/Captain.1998 was promoted to VLCC Chief Officer.
