As a first-generation college student who grew up in a lower-income household, I worked tirelessly to find myself a place and navigate the world of higher education without common knowledge of the processes or the general understanding of the “college experience.” Through my years in my undergraduate program, I pinpointed many of the challenges and overall shortcomings within the industry regarding the support and well-being of less traditional college students. This experience has allowed me to build my career and find processes that better support all students regardless of background. My mission is to support all students in reaching their definition of success while working to limit their burden and stress through different best practices and communication techniques. Outside of work, I am a creative personality, enjoying the works of authors John Green, Emily Henry, and Allison Larkin while finishing my debut novel, Waiting on July.
