Laboratory Technician for Life Science department at LACC. Create and quality control laboratory materials for life science classes, and supervise student worker assistants. This role also includes inventory management and procurement through SAP, as well as consistent equipment upkeep and collaboration with company representatives.

Conducted research into the circadian rhythm of Cyanobacteria at the guidance of my PI. Familiar with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, Plasmid Recombination and Gibson Assembly, Western Blot, Gel Electrophoresis, and more.

As a Shift Supervisor, I assumed responsibility for a team of baristas during 8-hour day parts. Responsibilities included the training of new hires, constant development of fellow employees, management of nightly funds, and daily/weekly ordering of product stock. Gained significant experience interacting with a diverse population of coworkers and customers.

Healthcare Specialists are responsible for being the primary point of care for groups of service members. Training includes civilian EMT certification, in-depth trauma management, triage, and additional primary care training from military Physician Assistants. Responsibilities unique to myself included management of medical supply system pending deployments, and a position as a primary medic in a forward aid station. Worked with patients daily and wrote notes detailing patient interactions.
