I am a police officer, self-proclaimed aviation geek, plane spotter, skygazer, and travel addict. My first taste of aviation was on a trip to Mexico as a child. In awe of the view of the Earth from the sky, a gravity-defying metal tube transported me from one world to another. As I traveled the globe in the years since that flight, my love of aviation flourished as I realized its ability to make the world better by connecting people and cultures. The son of two sheriff’s deputies, I grew up loving talking to people of all backgrounds and wanting to help others in any way possible. I am inspired by the positive impact my parents had on their communities, making them better, just as aviation makes the world better and more connected. My love of talking to diverse groups of people fuels my desire to understand and help others, leading me to roles in public service, sales, and management. My skill set and leadership qualities have been honed during my time as a police officer and through sales management roles in the retail, automotive, and technology industries. As a police officer, I routinely conduct complex investigations, monitor geopolitical events, and serve as a liaison between local, state, and federal agencies. I organize security assessments for local schools and critical infrastructure. I have held supervisory and training officer positions, making me responsible for the safety and development of my team. In sales and management positions, I have successfully negotiated large-scale B2B software contracts, generating millions of dollars in revenue annually, and managed corporate accounts through a relationship-based sales approach. I have experience in B2B and B2C sales, business and project management, data analysis, safety and security, investigations, software implementation, and customer service. I enjoy leveraging technology such as MS Office/Excel, Everbridge, SalesForce, and video conferencing to streamline processes while maximizing engagement, efficiency, and growth.My objective is to fuse my experience and love of aviation, allowing me to take on a role in which I can continue my professional development while contributing to my organization's growth.
