Transport Performance and Analytics (TPA) operates as a Centre of Excellence, providing objective and credible transport data, advice and analysis. As the Quality Coordinator I managed the documented Quality Management Systems for Vocational Education Training and Accreditation Board (VETAB) which was responsible in processing new or renewal applications from training providers to become Registered Training Organisations (RTO) and accrediting new courses and Training Packages.Major tasks included process mapping and improvement; reviewing, generating new or maintaining documents such as policies, procedures and work instructions; internal auditing and corrective action systems; setting Key Performance Indicators and conducting measurements, analysis and Continual Improvement activities and Management Review in line with ISO9001 Standards requirements.

• Conduct quality training to employees and provide mentoring, coaching to facilitate changes.• Recommend objectives for management to incorporate; monitor and communicate measurements to stimulate sufficient reaction for continual improvement.• Conduct workplace inspections; accident / incident investigations; risk assessments and coordinate risk management activities.• Member (company representative) of the OHS Committee to provide OHS consultation to employees on a day-to-day basis.• Management Representative to ensure requirements of ISO9001: 2000 management system are met and relevant records maintained.• Develop and review procedures and processes to ensure compliance to customer and legislative requirements.• Plan, coordinate and conduct internal quality audits as Lead Auditor; report findings and recommendations to the management and liaise with external auditors (2nd and 3rd party).• Provide internal and customer support on quality and OHS matters such as feedback and complaints.• Perform root cause analysis and response to customer complaints and initiate corrective actions applying problem solving techniques and implement necessary changes to prevent recurrence.

Successfully implemented and maintained a documented OHS management system from scratch; and brought the OHS system at GPC to a level meeting the benchmark requirements of PDS Audit 2.Effectively trained and motivated people in the workplace to improve customer focus and safety culture focused on prevention resulting in enhanced customer satisfaction and reduction in workplace injuries.Sucessfully applied qualiy tools such as FMEA, Process Control and Process Capability resulting in timely and effective corrective and preventive actions.Provided quality support to internal and external customers and maintained good working relationship as a result of timely follow-up actions and feedback to the clients.Upgraded and improved the method and processes involved in the scheduling, planning, auditing and reporting on internal quality and OHS audits. Managed and traced internal / customer complaints and warranty claims enabling specific problem areas to be pinpointed and resolved through effective communication with internal and external customers and the introduction of change.Conducted review of the management system and counselled the people in the workplace resulting in an effective and suitable system that meets the ISO9001: 2000 standard and complies with OHS legislative requirements without penalties or prosecutions by WorkCover.
