I began working with PA American Water in June of 2020 as a drinking water treatment plant operator at Lake Scranton. After a year in the position I took a promotion as Senior Water Quality & Environmental Compliance Specialist working out of the Bangor Water Treatment Plant. In this role I assure that we maintain DEP compliance at all times by collecting bacteriological samples for laboratory testing in which I perform. By doing so we are assuring that all plants and sub stations are functioning as they should be allowing us to stand behind our product 100%. Aside from this responsibility I also work to maintain accreditation for a microbiological laboratory at the Bangor Water Treatment Plant. This includes monthly and quarterly QA/QC checks on all required lab instruments. Assist with special projects such as new main installation to assure everything falls within requirements.
